Is K-pop sensation BTS finally performing in India? That’s the burning question every desi ARMY has been asking ever since the group announced their grand return to the global music scene after nearly three years.
Back in July, during a Weverse livestream, the members of BTS revealed their upcoming 2026 comeback album and an extensive world tour, marking the end of their military hiatus.
According to a report by Finance News, researcher Kim Hyun Young from Hyundai Motor Securities shared that BTS’s next tour might kick off around May 2026 and continue through December, covering almost eight months. The global tour could include around 65 concerts worldwide, attracting an estimated 4 million fans. Each show is expected to pull crowds of over 60,000 ARMYs, making it one of the biggest BTS tours ever.
Experts also predict that this mega tour could boost HYBE’s operating profits to over 100 billion KRW, starting mid-2026. The first leg is expected to begin in North America, followed by performances across Asia and Europe. Naturally, fans are eager to know — will India make the list?
Will BTS Perform in India?
While there’s no official confirmation yet, the chances appear stronger than ever. HYBE Corporation’s launch of its Indian subsidiary, HYBE India, in Mumbai earlier this year has fueled speculation that the group may finally perform here.
It’s worth remembering that BTS — RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — originally planned to visit India during their 2020 world tour, which was later canceled due to the pandemic.
With BTS’s fanbase growing rapidly across India and HYBE expanding its presence in the country, a BTS India concert in 2026 could soon turn from a dream into reality.
