Gold Price Update

Latest Gold Prices in Pakistan – October 4, 2025

KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan remained largely stable on Saturday, mirroring trends in the international market.

The Saraffa Association reported that the opening rate for 24-karat gold per tola was Rs407,778, while the price for 10 grams was Rs349,603.

Gold, prized for its scarcity and long-lasting value, has been a trusted investment and a hedge against inflation for centuries. It is traded worldwide in forms such as physical bars, futures contracts, and ETFs. Investors typically turn to gold during periods of economic uncertainty, as it often holds value when other assets decline. Key trading hubs include London, New York, and Shanghai. Prices are influenced by interest rates, currency fluctuations, and global political events.

In the international market, gold has also reached a record high, trading at $3,865 per ounce.
